Dr. Khan completed six years of residency with major
rotations in plastic surgery, burn and trauma at the Cook
County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. During that time, Dr.
Khan's work was so outstanding that Cook County Hospital
honored the doctor with an award for Best Intern of the Year.
During residency, Dr. Khan helped to restore the facial
features of trauma and burn patients. Later, Dr. Khan's
cosmetic surgery fellowship training was spent with the
pioneer of hair transplant surgery, Dr. Stough. Dr. Khan's
strong passion for hair restoration during that academic
training year helped the Doctor envision new frontiers in the
hair restoration field. Dr. Khan is the pioneer for both
the depth control instrumentation and the expansion technique
for density in hair transplant surgeries. Dr. Khan also
invented the PMP (graft preparation) system for preparing
follicular units with an LCD projected video scope. Over the
years, Dr. Khan has trained physicians from all over the world
during surgeries. Dr. Khan is a guest speaker, invited to
detail this cutting edge work. The doctor's work has earned
the most prestigious awards, and the highest respect among
peers. Dr. Khan is Board Certified in General Surgery,
Board Certified in Cosmetic Surgery, an examiner of the
American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, a Fellow American College
